Lionel Nishimwe

Lionel Nishimwe is a Burundian film director born in 2002 in Bujumbura.He started his storytelling journey as an artist painter,photographer and fashion model to become later in 2021 a film director as an independent filmmaker.In 2022 he became the first Burundian to win the award for best East African short film at Mashariki African film festival.
